چکیده
Essential structural features of the high-pressure phase Ge32Co9−x: The atomic arrangement is built from a uniquely distorted cubic primitive Ge atoms. Ordered occupation neighboring cubes by Co atoms forms heteroatomic three-core clusters Co3Ge16. These units condense to form two interpenetrating frameworks interlinked covalent Ge−Ge bonds. homopolar germanium bonding creates characteristic six-membered rings. Toward the Ultimate Limit of Phase Change in Ge2Sb2Te5
The limit to which the phase change memory material Ge2Sb2Te5 can be scaled toward the smallest possible memory cell is investigated using structural and optical methodologies. The encapsulation material surrounding the Ge2Sb2Te5 has an increasingly dominant effect on the material’s ability to change phase, and a profound increase in the crystallization temperature is observed when the Ge2Sb2Te...

Heterogeneity of Molecular Structure of Ag Photo-Diffused Ge30Se70 Thin Films
Silver photodiffusion in thin Ge30Se70 films is investigated in order to understand the structure forming in the Ge-Se host after introduction of Ag in it. Optical micrographs point towards formation of homogeneous films after deposition of the Ge-Se material on glass substrate. This structure changes and occurrence of heterogeneous regions is imaged after Ag is introduced into the Ge-Se host. ...
متن کاملOptimal feature sub-space selection based on discriminant analysis
The performance of a speech recogniser, or of any other pattern classifier, strongly depends on the input features: to obtain a good performance, the feature set needs to be both highly discriminative and compact. Linear discriminant analysis (LDA) is a common data-driven method used to find linear transformations that map large feature vectors onto smaller ones while retaining most of the disc...
